Fantistics for Fantasy Football
Overview
Make the lineup changes and add/drops you choose in Fantistics on your own fantasy football team, with one click.
Fantistics for Fantasy Football connects the Fantistics web app to your own fantasy football team on the site your league plays on: Yahoo Fantasy Football and CBS Sports Fantasy. On the Waiver Wire page, Fantistics shows the lineup changes and add/drops it recommends for your team, and lets you pick your own: any free agent, any player on your roster. With this extension installed, each one has a button: Swap on Yahoo, Start on CBS, Add on Yahoo, Claim on CBS. Press it, confirm, and the extension makes that change on the site for you. What it does - Lineup changes: starts one player in place of another, or in an empty seat, for the current week. - Add and drop: adds a free agent and drops the player you chose. When your roster has an open spot, it can add a free agent with nobody dropped. - Waiver claims: puts in a claim for a player on waivers, with the drop you chose, or with none when your roster has an open spot. - On CBS, it can also list your CBS leagues so you can link one, and read your league (rosters, lineups, scores, and the trades waiting in it) into Fantistics when you open it there and its last read is over 6 hours old, or when you press Refresh. How it works - It makes a change only when you press a button in Fantistics and confirm. It reads a CBS league only for Fantistics, as above. - It makes the change inside a tab on the league site in your own browser, using the sign-in you already have there. It never sees your password. - Each site is allowed separately. Yahoo is allowed when you install; CBS asks you once, right after you add the extension from a CBS screen in Fantistics, or the first time you link a CBS league or send it a change. - It checks your team on the site first. If the change is already made, or the site no longer allows it (a game has started, a player has been claimed), nothing is sent and Fantistics tells you why. - One change at a time. It does not run in the background and does not check any site except for the changes, reads and league lists above. What you need - A Fantistics account with a Yahoo Fantasy Football or CBS Sports Fantasy Football league linked. - To be signed in to that site in this browser, with the account that owns the team. Limits in this version - Football only. - In leagues that bid for waiver claims, claims are made on the site, where you set your bid. Free-agent adds still work. Fantistics is not affiliated with or endorsed by Yahoo or CBS Sports.
