QR Code Creator combines a QR code generator and scanner in one Chrome extension. Turn a link, text, Wi-Fi network or contact into a shareable code, or read one from a web page or image. 🔳 CREATE, CUSTOMIZE AND SHARE • Convert a URL to a QR code, including the current tab's link. • Encode plain text, notes or messages. • Make Wi-Fi QR codes for WPA/WPA2, WEP and open networks. • Share contact details with vCard QR codes. • Customize colors, dot patterns and corner styles. • Add a center logo with high error correction applied automatically. • Save up to 20 local design presets. • Download PNG images at 512, 1024 or 2048 pixels, export scalable SVG files, or copy an image directly to your clipboard. 🔍 SCAN QR CODES FROM PAGES AND IMAGES Use the built-in QR code reader to decode a code without reaching for your phone. Click Select area, then draw around the complete code on the page, including its border. Review the decoded URL or text before taking the next step. Copy the result or choose to open a web link. Decoded links never open automatically. You can also scan a QR code from an image file. PNG, JPEG, WebP and BMP are supported, including normal and inverted designs. QUICK ACCESS WHILE BROWSING Right-click selected text or a link to create a code. Right-click a visible QR image to read it, or press Alt+Shift+S to start area selection. The shortcut can be changed in Chrome's extension settings. Enable optional link hover previews to see a scannable code when you pause over a link. This feature stays active for the current page until it reloads. LOCAL PROCESSING, NO ACCOUNT Generation and decoding happen on your device. Your images and QR content are not uploaded to a processing server. No account, ads or analytics. Design presets stay in local extension storage and save your styling, rather than the encoded content or Wi-Fi password. Page scanning and hover previews run when you request them, without permanent access to every website. Page scanning is available on regular websites.
