De and Re fangs urls from a webpage to your clipboard
Security minded web users and researchers often find themselves needing to render a URL inert or "defang" it for safe sharing (e.g. hxxps://example[.]com). This extension allows you to defang URLs to your clipboard via a right-clicked context menu so you can paste them safely. There is also an option to refang/restore a defanged URL to its functional form. The extension will prioritize any selected text or right-clicked links on a web page, otherwise it will copy the URL of the current page.
