The photo highlights a fancy goldfish (flared tail goldfish) swimming gently in an aquarium. Fish species: This is a Ryukin goldfish – a premium variant of the traditional goldfish (Carassius auratus). The fish has a thick oval body, with a high hump near the head – a characteristic of the Ryukin breed. The entire body is covered with iridescent scales, a combination of brilliant orange-red and pure white. Particularly impressive are the large, thin, silk-like tail and fins, with transparent white edges, floating lightly as if dancing in the water.
