FanBooks Saver
Overview
Saves a fanfic from the open page as TXT or HTML: AO3, Ficbook and FanFiction.net.
FanBooks Saver saves a fanfic from the page you have open as a TXT or HTML file — to read offline, on an e-reader, or just to keep. Supported sites: • Archive of Our Own (AO3) • Ficbook (ficbook.net) • FanFiction.net How it works: • Open any chapter of a work and click the extension icon → choose TXT or HTML → "Download work". • Or paste a link to a work into the extension window. • Or right-click a link to a work → "Download work from link". The file contains the work's header (title, author, tags, summary, notes) and all chapters with the author's formatting. Progress is shown in the corner of the page. If AO3 is down for maintenance, the extension looks for a saved copy of the work on ao3saver and in the Internet Archive's Wayback Machine, and clearly says where the copy came from and how old it is. Privacy: everything happens in your browser, with your own login on the site. No server, no analytics, no data collection. The extension does not bypass site restrictions: if a work is visible only to logged-in users, you need to be logged in. Interface languages: English, Русский, Українська, Қазақша, Español, Deutsch, Français, Italiano.
