Falcon Laser Studio is a professional laser engraver design suite built specifically for the Creality Falcon 10W — running as a full maximized window inside Chrome with no cloud, no account, and no subscription. DESIGN CANVAS Draw rectangles, circles, and lines directly on a scaled 400×415mm work area. Add text with a searchable library of 100+ fonts including Google Fonts, system fonts, display faces, scripts, and handwriting styles — each previewed in its own typeface. Import images, SVG files, and DXF files from CAD tools (Fusion 360, AutoCAD, Inkscape). Full 50-step undo/redo, cut/copy/paste, duplicate, align and distribute, keyboard shortcuts, and snap-to-grid. 7 COLOUR-CODED LASER LAYERS Assign objects to colour-coded layers — each with its own power, speed, and mode. One file can engrave the fill on one layer and cut the outline on another. Raster layers process first, vector cuts last, automatically. PATH OPERATIONS Trace bitmaps to vector outlines with a live threshold preview. Boolean operations: union, subtract, intersect, exclude. Text on a curved path: arc top, arc bottom, full circle, or wave. Tile/array to repeat any object in a grid. Node/bezier editing with drag handles. FRAMING — POSITION BEFORE YOU BURN Every downloaded file includes a LightBurn-compatible frame preview: the machine traces the job boundary with the red dot visible and waits for you to press Start. Position your material with confidence, then let it run. MATERIAL PRESETS & LASER SETTINGS Built-in presets for wood (engrave and cut), acrylic, leather, cardboard, and slate. Fine-tune power, feed rate, line interval (LPI from 0.025–1mm), passes, pass gap (Z), origin, and max S value. VARIABLE POWER FILL Map image brightness directly to laser power for photo-realistic engraving. Gamma correction, Floyd-Steinberg dithering, Bayer ordered dithering, and threshold modes. MACHINE CONNECTION Connect your Falcon over USB using Web Serial — no drivers needed beyond Chrome. Send jobs, home, frame the job outline, and emergency-stop. Built-in Grbl terminal with full command history. Manual X/Y jog controls in 1–50mm steps. CALIBRATION GRID Generate a power/speed test matrix to dial in any new material. Set ranges, grid dimensions, and cell shape. Live colour preview before exporting. ROTARY AXIS Engrave cylinders, tumblers, and rings. Enter diameter and steps-per-revolution — Y moves convert to A-axis rotations automatically. CAMERA OVERLAY Point a webcam at your laser bed to see your material through the design.
