Overview

Fake News Detector Chrome Extension

This extension allows users to fight against the threat of fake news by submitting text for predictions through Deep Learning models trained with fake and real news data. Both English and European Portuguese languages are supported and users can change between them by clicking on their respective flag. Besides asking for predictions, users can also report fake or real news to improve the future models' predictions. This app was developed for a master's dissertation, alongside an Android Application, to put the developed Machine Learning and Deep Learning models into practice, thus showing their usefulness and possible impact.
