FairSign — Sign a PDF without uploading it
Overview
Sign any PDF in your browser. The file stays on your device and is never uploaded to a server.
FairSign lets you sign a PDF without handing the file to anyone. Click the toolbar icon, or right-click a PDF link, and the signing page opens in a new tab. Drop in your PDF, place your signature, and download the signed file. Everything happens in your browser, so the PDF is never uploaded and it works offline. This extension is a shortcut. It does not read, collect, upload, or store anything. Its only permission is contextMenus, which adds the right-click entry. If you also need to send documents to other people for signature, usefairsign.com does that too, with a tamper-evident audit trail. The free plan includes 3 sends per month, and self-signing is always free and unlimited.
