FairPlay Radar: Chess Opponent Risk Score
Overview
Pre-game opponent risk score for Lichess, Chess.com, and 5 more chess sites using accuracy norms, move cadence, and puzzles.
FairPlay Radar inspects your online chess opponent as soon as a live match starts. It reads public profile metadata, per-format win/loss/draw records, server engine evaluations, per-move clock timestamps, and puzzle history so you can decide whether to abort during Move 1. HOW IT WORKS When you enter a live match or open a player profile on supported chess platforms, FairPlay Radar detects the opponent's username and active time control, queries public platform APIs, and computes two scores side by side: 1. Chess Risk Score (CRS 0-100): Weights overall win rate, recent win rate, and rating-band calibrated accuracy against account age multipliers (up to x5.0 for accounts under 7 days old) and verified master title dampeners. 2. Combined Forensic Risk % (0-100%): - Move-Time Cadence and Forced-Move Hesitation: Calculates the Coefficient of Variation across move times, flags flat pacing inside the 2.2s to 8.5s engine-relay window, and detects delayed recaptures and delayed check evasions. - Mid-Game Engine Toggle Detection: Identifies games where a player falls behind early and then plays a long streak of near-zero centipawn loss moves to convert the game. - Same-Game Co-Occurrence: Flags matches where flat move timing and ceiling-breaching accuracy occur together in the same game. - Puzzle and Tactics Footprint: Flags high-accuracy accounts with zero rated puzzles solved or an inverted live-to-puzzle rating gap. - Time-Control Discrepancy and 7-Day Elo Surge: Detects accounts rated 300+ Elo higher in slower controls than Bullet and tracks 7-day rating spikes and sandbagging patterns. - Live Community Anti-Cheat Telemetry: Displays how many times an opponent has been flagged by other FairPlay Radar users and recent 24-hour scan velocity. KEY FEATURES - Draggable In-Game HUD Overlay with Opponent and Self tabs, plus Full, Semi-Zen, and Zen display modes. - Inline Board Badges injected next to the opponent's username showing Risk %, recent W/L/D record, and puzzle count. - Move 1 Abort Highlight: Highlights the native Abort button on the board when an opponent exceeds your configured risk threshold on Move 1. - Batch Loss Auditor: Scans your recent losses in one click to identify suspicious opponents. - Ban-Watch Tracker: Monitors your Avoid list for official platform fair-play account closures.
