FairAuth
Overview
Fills in verification codes from FairAuth for Mac, only on the website saved with the account.
FairAuth fills in the code for two-step verification on the login page, straight from FairAuth for Mac. How it works 1. Click into the code field on the login page. 2. Click FairAuth in the toolbar or press Control+Shift+F. 3. Confirm with Touch ID or your login password. The code goes into the field. After you have filled in a code on a website, FairAuth can offer a small button in that website’s code field from then on. Chrome asks you to allow this for that one website. What stays private • A code goes only to the website saved with its account. The code for github.com is never filled in on any other website. • The extension never gets your secret keys, only the code that is valid right now. • No network access, nothing stored, never the clipboard. • No data is collected. What you need FairAuth for Mac 1.2 or later from the Mac App Store. In FairAuth, turn on Chrome under Settings › Security › Other Browsers. Filling in codes is part of the 7-day trial and the full version. Codes are only filled in on secure pages (https).
