Shows the travel direction of long-distance trains during seat booking on bahn.de
Ever booked a window seat facing forward – only to end up sitting backwards? With "Fahrtrichtung" you can see the travel direction of your train before booking your seat on bahn.de. How it works: • Open bahn.de and search for a connection • Click "Sitzplatz auswählen" (select seat) • Click the Fahrtrichtung icon in your browser toolbar • The extension instantly shows the travel direction with an arrow Features: • Travel direction per route segment (including direction changes) • Shows which wagon is at the front • Travel time per segment • Supports ICE, IC, EC, ECE, TGV, RJX, RJ, NJ and EN trains • Automatic train detection from the seat selection dialog • German and English Data sources: • Wagon order: fernbahn.de • Station list and times: bahn.expert Note: Wagon orders may change on the day of travel.
