Amanda — AI Study Assistant: Explain & Summarize Any Page or PDF

Select text on any web page or PDF to explain, summarize or translate it. Screenshot an equation or figure to ask AI about it.

Amanda puts an AI assistant exactly where you are reading. Select any text on any web page and a small bar appears right below your selection. Pick an action and the answer opens in a panel beside it — no copying into another tab, no losing your place. WHAT IT DOES • Ask — put a question to the model about the text you selected • Summarize — long articles, threads and documentation, condensed • Translate — into the language you choose in settings • Explain — jargon, error messages, legal or medical wording • Rewrite — clearer, shorter, or in a different tone • Fix grammar — corrections without changing your meaning • Screenshot to AI — drag a region of the page and ask about what is in it: charts, diagrams, screenshots of code HOW IT WORKS Pin the actions you use most so they sit on the bar; the rest stay behind a menu. Ask follow-up questions in the panel. Copy the answer, or regenerate it. Open it with the keyboard: Ctrl+Shift+K for the selection bar, Ctrl+Shift+U to capture a region. PRIVACY Amanda reads nothing until you select text and choose an action. It does not run in the background, and it does not store the text you select, your screenshots, or the answers.
