Overview

@Filter - Keyword-based content filtering, powering @Map™, a global sentiment platform

@Filter is a free browser extension that hides unwanted content using keywords you choose and lets you share grouped filtering patterns on @Map. HOW IT WORKS Add keywords to your filter list. @Filter scans headlines locally and hides matching articles, videos, and posts across news sites, social media, and video platforms. COMMUNITY MAP With community participation enabled, your filtering activity helps build @Map at atfilter.com so everyone can see which keywords people are filtering in different places. Public results include grouped keywords, site domains, approximate geography, time periods, and counts. Uncommon keywords or small groups can be revealing, so avoid using private information as filter keywords when participating. DATA AND YOUR CHOICES With participation enabled, the extension sends keyword changes, matching keywords, site domains, counts, timing, extension/browser information, and random installation/session identifiers. The server hashes the installation identifier and derives approximate geography from the request IP. Full page URLs, page text, passwords, and form contents are not sent as filtering events. Raw keyword-change and filtering-event records are scheduled for deletion within 24 hours of receipt; grouped map statistics remain. A hashed installation identifier and approximate location may remain longer to count observed installations and detect abuse. See https://atfilter.com/privacy for details. You can turn community participation off in Settings. Pending unsent events are cleared, and the current extension also stops content filtering when participation is off. Your keyword settings are stored locally in your browser. VERSION 1.3 Consented events survive background-worker restarts and retry temporary delivery failures. Stable batch identifiers prevent retries from being counted twice. PERMISSIONS • Access to websites: scans headlines locally and hides matching content. • Storage: saves keywords, settings, consent choices, and pending events locally. • Alarms: sends consented event batches periodically. @Filter is free. No account is required. Support: support@atfilter.com Website and community map: https://atfilter.com
