Fact It checks what your AI just told you — while you're reading it. As ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini streams a response, Fact It underlines the specific factual claims with a confidence signal (supported, partial, contradicted, or still checking), the same way a spell-checker underlines typos. Nothing about your workflow changes; the answer just gets a second opinion. Hover any underlined claim to see the evidence behind the verdict — the sources that support or contradict it, with links you can open and read yourself. Open the sidebar for a running list of every claim in the response, so you can scan what's solid and what needs a closer look before you rely on it. Fact It is built to be quiet and privacy-respecting. It only reads the AI's response — never your prompt by default — and it activates solely on the AI chat sites you'd expect (ChatGPT, Claude.ai, Gemini). It doesn't run on the rest of your browsing. You can toggle checking on or off per page from the toolbar popup or with a keyboard shortcut. Use it to catch confident-sounding hallucinations, sanity-check numbers and citations, and build a habit of trusting AI answers a little less blindly.
