Keep your place when you return to Facebook. Facefix reduces unwanted refresh triggers, automatic navigation back to Home, and sudden upward scroll jumps after you return to a Facebook tab. • Suppresses return-to-tab events that can trigger a refresh. • Blocks cancelable automatic reloads and Home redirects while away and briefly after returning. • Helps restore your main-page scroll position after a sudden upward jump. • Asks Chrome to keep Facebook tabs from being automatically discarded. • Shows local counters for suppressed return events, blocked reloads, blocked Home redirects, and scroll recoveries. • Includes a protection switch and a counter reset button. Your clicks, scrolling, typing, Back/Forward navigation, and manual Reload remain available. Install Facefix, reload existing Facebook tabs once, and use the toolbar popup to manage protection. Privacy: protection runs on your device. Facefix checks Facebook URLs and page-interaction signals locally and saves only its setting and aggregate counters. It does not save a browsing history, read post or message content for analysis, or send your activity to a developer server. No ads, analytics service, or remote code. Limits: Facebook can still replace posts through internal timers or network updates. This extension cannot recover deleted content, expired sessions, browser crashes, or every forced reload. Keeping tabs in memory may increase memory use, and suppressing return events may delay some Facebook updates.
