It is built for ultrawide users, dance and tutorial learners, playlist viewers, and anyone who wants a simpler YouTube experience. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 🆕 What's New in v2.0 ⚡ Home Feed Preload — Off by Default When enabled, the extension pre-fetches the next batches of recommended videos (1–10 rounds of your choice) as you enter Home, so scrolling rarely has to stop and wait for loading. Preloading uses YouTube's own loading path inside the page you are viewing, never moves your scroll position, and stays within strict round, item, and time limits. Nothing is sent to the developer. 🎛 Redesigned Control Panel The popup has a completely new look. The four tabs and every feature stay the same, now presented in a clearer card layout with built-in icons. There are no permission changes, and all icons and code ship inside the package — nothing is loaded from external servers. 📍 Always-Visible Chapter Titles — Off by Default A new Chapter Dots option keeps each chapter title visible in small text next to its dot. Click a title to jump to that chapter; the hovered row is highlighted. The recipient is YouTube Ask, and the returned answer is shown from an icon beside the player. The extension does not generate the summary itself and does not send the request or answer to the developer or a developer-operated server. The request is processed by Google/YouTube within the current YouTube page, and a temporary copy of the answer remains only in the current tab's memory. If an Ask conversation already exists, the extension checks whether the fixed summary wording was previously used and, if so, shows the completed answer linked to that question again instead of sending a new request; it does not copy or store unrelated turns. The icon may not appear when YouTube Ask is unavailable for an account, region, or video. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 🔒 Data Handling, Permissions & Compatibility • No ads, analytics, tracking, or developer-operated server. • The current YouTube URL, page elements, player state, visible list metadata, and chapter markers are processed temporarily in the current tab only to provide selected features. The extension does not build a viewing history. • Home Feed Preload only uses the page's own YouTube loading path and collects or transmits nothing. • Preferences and any channel/title exclusion text you enter are stored in `chrome.storage.sync`. If Chrome Sync is enabled, Google may synchronize them under the user's Chrome settings and policies; the developer does not receive them. • Only when Video Summary is enabled, the fixed summary request and current-video context are processed by YouTube Ask. The extension discards its response copy when the tab navigates or reloads. • Permissions are limited to `storage` and access to `https://www.youtube.com/*`. All executable code is included in the installed package. • Requires Chrome 111 or later. YouTube frequently changes its page structure and feature availability, so some layout, chapter, summary, or feed features may require an extension update.
