EZEdit (Beta) is an experimental inline content editor for Adobe DA-authored pages. Edit text directly on the live page — no separate authoring tool needed — then track, review, and export your changes for handoff or review. EZEdit works on Adobe.com and AEM-rendered pages (*.aem.page, *.aem.live, *.aem.reviews, *.hlx.page, *.hlx.live, and adobe.com). ✏️ Inline editing Toggle editing mode on or off with a single switch Rich text formatting: bold, italic, underline, and strikethrough Convert blocks to H2 / H3 headings Insert and edit links (with full link-attribute preservation) Blockquotes plus ordered and unordered lists, with natural Enter / Backspace behavior Edit accordion and FAQ question text in place Existing link and element attributes are preserved as you edit 🖼️ Accessibility & images Click any image to edit its alt text for better accessibility 🔍 Change tracking & review Live change indicators highlight every modified, added, or removed element Click an indicator to see a before/after diff of each change Running summary of modified, added, removed, metadata, and new-block changes Jump between changes with next / previous navigation Revert a single change or revert everything at once 🏷️ Page metadata View and edit page metadata directly from the extension ➕ New-block annotations Mark where new content blocks should be added, with a name, contents, and notes — captured as context for downstream authoring 📤 Export & import Export all changes to JSON for reuse or version control Export to XLSX with color-coded, word-level diffs — formatted for SEO and content reviewers Import a previously exported JSON file to re-apply changes on the matching page ⚠️ Beta notice: This is an experimental release.
