EZ View Modes & Controls adds the viewing modes and shortcuts YouTube is missing. FULLSCREEN IN WINDOW ( ` ) The video fills the whole browser window without going true fullscreen, so your tabs, taskbar and other windows stay usable. Scroll down to reach the title, description and recommendations. Press ` or Esc to go back. PIP, ALWAYS ON TOP ( Shift + ` ) Moves the player into a resizable picture-in-picture window that stays above every other app, with YouTube's full controls. Keyboard shortcuts keep working inside it. POPUP WINDOW ( Alt + ` ) Opens the video in its own clean window without an address bar. When you close it, the original tab picks up from where you left off. CHAT AND COMMENTS PANEL ( Q ) Shows live chat or the comments next to the video, including in fullscreen-in-window mode. PLAYBACK SPEED ( , and . ) On-player − / + buttons and the , and . keys step the speed from 0.25× to 4×. Click the speed value to reset to 1×. Live streams drop back to 1× automatically once you catch up to live.
