EyeCare Plus – Eye Break Reminder & 20-20-20 Timer

20-20-20 eye break reminders, guided eye exercises, a blue-light filter and daily screen-time stats. Private and light.

EyeCare Plus helps you rest your eyes AND see how much you actually work. It reminds you to take regular screen breaks with the popular 20-20-20 rule — every 20 minutes, look at something 20 feet away for 20 seconds — to help reduce eye strain and eye fatigue from long screen sessions. Built-in statistics track your active time, breaks, streaks and history, and a blue-light filter keeps evening screens easy on the eyes. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 💡 WHY I BUILT THIS ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ I built EyeCare Plus because I needed it myself. Other eye-break reminders kept nagging me when I had stepped away, was watching a movie, or my PC was asleep. None of them were smart about when NOT to interrupt me. So I built the extension I wished existed: • Stepped away from your desk? It quietly pauses after the time you choose. • Watching a movie? With no keyboard or mouse activity it pauses too — or keep reminders on if you prefer. • Computer asleep or locked overnight? It never wakes you with pointless alerts, and starts fresh after a long rest. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 👁️ REST YOUR EYES ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ • 20-20-20 break reminders, every 1–60 minutes • Calm full-screen break with guided eye exercises — look far, blink, focus shift, rest and gentle eye rolls • Break duration from 30 seconds to 30 minutes · one-click skip or snooze • Take a break now with one click (👁) or the shortcut Alt+Shift+E (Option+Shift+E on Mac) • Minutes left on the toolbar icon (optional) • 13 gentle and classic sounds, or upload your own — adjustable volume ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 🌙 BLUE-LIGHT FILTER (new) ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ • Warm or dim every website in the evening • Soft, Warm or Candle tone · adjustable warmth and dim • Always on, or on a schedule (for example 19:00 to 07:00) • Turn it off on sites where true colours matter — with one switch ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 📊 TRACK YOUR SCREEN TIME ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ • Active screen time and breaks, every day • 7-day, 30-day, this-month and 12-month charts • Streaks and weekly insights • Export your history as CSV ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 🧠 SMART & FLEXIBLE ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ • Pauses when you step away and resumes where it left off • Pauses while the computer sleeps or is locked • Work-hours schedule · manual pause · custom reminder message • Light & dark mode • Available in 10 languages — follows Chrome, or pick your own ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 🔒 100% PRIVATE • LIGHTWEIGHT ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Everything stays in your browser. If it helps you, an honest review genuinely helps a small independent developer keep improving it. Questions or ideas? Email me at protauhid@gmail.com — I reply personally.
