Eye-Share Time Export

Saves verified ServiceNow Time Worked records to your MyTime time card.

Eye-Share Time Export automatically export hours tracked in ServiceNow to MyTime, so you don't have to type the same hours twice. It's an internal tool for Eye-Share colleagues. It isn't made by, or connected to, ServiceNow or Tietoevry. What you do Open a Time Worked record on a ServiceNow case. The extension adds a small panel to the form. Pick what kind of work it was (Standard, Meeting, Internal support or Upgrade) and whether the hours are normal or overtime. Then save the record the way you always have. That's it. The hours turn up in MyTime a moment later. When it won't export The extension checks a few things before it writes anything. It makes sure the record it's copying is the one you just saved, that the billable and non-billable hours add up to the total, that the customer is linked to exactly one MyTime project, that you're still signed in, and that the week isn't locked. If something doesn't check out, it stops and tells you. The reason shows up in the popup under Needs attention, with a Retry button for once you've sorted it out. One case is deliberately manual. If MyTime never confirmed a save, the extension won't retry it on its own, and won't let you either. Someone has to open MyTime and look first. Retrying blind could book the same hours twice. The extension saves rows to your time card. What's in the popup Your hours for today and this week, your flextime balance, how much of your overtime allowance you've used, and how often your time cards go in on time. All of it read from your own MyTime card. Quick entries for the things you book over and over, like lunch or the daily standup. One click each. A list of everything the extension has exported, with an Undo button for as long as MyTime still allows it. Your data Nothing leaves your machine. Mappings, history and settings live in your browser. The extension only talks to eyeshare.service-now.com and mytime.tietoevry.com, using the logins you already have. It doesn't store passwords or cookies, and there's no tracking of any kind. Needs Chrome 120 or newer, and access to both systems.
