Overview
Screen-break reminders on the 20-20-20 pattern. Look 20 feet away, every 20 minutes.
Eye Saver reminds you to look away from the screen every 20 minutes. When a break is due, your current tab turns into a quiet break screen: "Look at something far away", a thin ring, and a short countdown. When the ring closes, you're back where you left off. What it does Breaks every 20 minutes by default, 30 seconds long. Change both in Settings. A heads-up notification 10 seconds before each break. Postpone or skip when you're in the middle of something, with a limit on how many times in a row. Strict mode removes Postpone and Skip entirely. Pauses on its own when you step away from the computer or watch a fullscreen video, and picks up where it left off. Optional chimes at the start and end of a break. The toolbar button shows time to your next break, with Pause and Break now. Private by design Eye Saver has no account, no analytics, and no ads, and makes no network requests. Your settings stay in your browser. Eye Saver is a break reminder, not a medical device.
