HOW EXTUNO ANALYZES AN EXTENSION Every deep scan runs three independent layers: - Static analysis: reads the extension's code without running it, using 1,100+ detection rules for malware behavior, leaked secrets and API keys, dangerous permissions, and obfuscation. - Dynamic analysis: runs the extension in an isolated, network-segmented sandbox and records what it actually does - the endpoints it contacts, the data it sends, and the browser APIs it calls. - AI code analysis: reads the full source, correlates behavior across versions, and explains why each finding is dangerous.
