PassGen is a fast, privacy-first password generator that creates strong passwords — or memorable passphrases — and fills them straight into login forms. No accounts, no cloud, no tracking. KEY FEATURES • Two modes — classic random passwords, or memorable passphrases like "Kernel-Potato-Curtain-Purpose-Paddle17" with adjustable word count, separator, capitalization, and an optional number. • One-click autofill — press "Fill current field" in the popup, or right-click any field and choose "Generate Password" to generate, fill, and save it in one step. • Keyboard shortcut — press Ctrl+Shift+L (Cmd+Shift+L on Mac) to generate and fill the focused field without opening the popup. • Fully customizable — length from 4 to 64 characters, plus uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and symbols. • Custom symbol set — define exactly which special characters are allowed. • Skip look-alikes — optionally exclude confusing characters (Il1O0…) for easier manual typing. • Strength meter — see real entropy (in bits) for whatever you generate. • Local history — quickly grab a password you just generated, tagged with the site you filled it into. • Light & dark theme.
