Extension Receipts explains installed extension permissions in plain English. Open the popup to see a local dashboard of your installed extensions, their permissions, host access, enabled state, and a simple risk label. It is built for understanding what your browser extensions can do without digging through raw manifest fields. Features: - Lists installed extensions in a local dashboard - Explains sensitive permissions and broad site access - Scores risk as low, medium, or high - Flags permissions such as all URLs, scripting, history, downloads, management, and tabs - Shows enabled status and changed enabled state - Searches by name, description, permission, or host pattern - Filters by risk level and disabled extensions Extension Receipts is local-only. Permission analysis happens in your browser and extension metadata is not sent anywhere. Permissions: - Management: reads installed extension metadata, enabled state, permissions, and host permissions - Storage: saves local UI settings and previous enabled-state snapshots No account. No analytics. No remote service.
