Explosive Reader

An intelligent reading assistant that inserts word explanations into web pages as a popup.

This extension automatically inserts the explanations of acronyms, jargons and buzzwords into the web page you are reading, and will be shown when your cursor hovers over these words. No more memorizing, googlling or flipping through your notes. It's a great tool for language learners and professionals woking in an acronym/buzzword-enriched environment. The extension is still in beta version and is evolving. Currently, it supports the following features: 1. Download public word sets containing target words, aliases and explanations, etc. 2. Add target words, aliases and explanations. 3. Specify for each word what websites you want or don't want to insert explanations. 4. Add tags to each word to help you manage them Now, users can download the following public word sets (no registration required.): * credit card churning * NASA The following features will be supported. 1. Sync data across devices. 2. Get explanations of words shared by others. 3. Intelligently import words and explanations from csv, excel, web pages or other sources. 4. Add relations among words to create your own knowledge base. 5. Automatically disambiguate words with multiple explanations by using the context.
