Translate selected English text and save it for review.

ExplainLang helps Chinese-speaking readers understand English while reading web pages, articles, and technical documentation. Select an English word, phrase, or sentence, press Alt+Shift+E, and ExplainLang shows a concise explanation. Useful words, phrases, and sentences can be saved to a local review list. Key features: - Explain selected English text without translating the whole page. - Save words, phrases, and sentences for later review. - Review saved items with Again, Hard, Good, and Easy. - Uses Chrome Built-in AI first when available. - Falls back to an OpenRouter free model when local AI is unavailable. Privacy design: - No account is required. - No cloud sync. - Saved items, review status, and settings are stored locally in the browser. - When local AI is unavailable and the user triggers an explanation, selected text and minimal page context may be sent to a remote AI service to generate the explanation. This first release focuses on English reading support. It does not provide PDF support, mobile app support, Anki sync, cloud sync, accounts, or full-page translation.
