Explain Snap — AI study assistant: snap screenshots or highlight text, then chat with AI to get instant, clear explanations.

Explain Snap helps you understand what you read online. Select a passage or capture part of a page, ask your question in the side panel and get a clear explanation while the original page stays in view. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Explain selected text: highlight a term or a dense paragraph and ask for a simpler explanation. • Ask about screenshots: capture a chart, a diagram or an image on the page and ask about the details you want to understand. • Attach an image from your computer: PNG, JPEG or WebP, up to 5 MiB per image. • Prepare your question: selected text and images stay in your draft until you send it. Enter sends; Shift+Enter adds a line. You can also send an image or a selection without typing a question. • Keep learning in context: ask follow-up questions in the side panel, beside the page you are reading. • Choose how answers are written: answer language, style (concise, standard, step by step) and your own instructions. ACCOUNT AND PLANS An Explain Snap account with a verified email is required. Every verified account starts with free AI credits; one AI request uses one credit. • Lite: monthly AI credits. • Pro: no monthly credit cap — hourly and daily safety limits still apply. Plans are managed on explainsnap.com (profile page); there is no payment in the extension.
