EXIF Viewer by Fluntro — Photo Metadata, GPS & Camera Settings
Overview
See the camera, lens, settings, date and location behind any photo. Everything runs locally — no uploads.
Every photo carries a hidden record of how it was made: the camera and lens, the aperture and shutter speed, the moment the shutter fired, and sometimes the exact spot on earth where you stood. EXIF Viewer shows you that record. Right-click any image on the web, or drop a file straight into the side panel. Nothing is uploaded. The image never leaves your computer — not to us, not to anyone. Most EXIF extensions send your photo to a server to read it. This one does the parsing in your browser, from the original bytes, and makes no network requests at all. WHAT YOU SEE • Camera & Lens — make, model, lens, focal length with its 35mm equivalent, and body serial number • Exposure — aperture, shutter speed, ISO, exposure compensation, metering mode, flash, and white balance • Date & Time — clearly separated: when the shutter fired, when the file was created, and when it was last modified, plus the time zone offset • Location — GPS latitude and longitude as signed decimal degrees, altitude, and UTC timestamp, with a plain link to Google Maps • All Tags — the complete raw dump, grouped by EXIF, IPTC, XMP and ICC block, with a filter box TWO WAYS IN Right-click any image on a web page and choose "View EXIF data". Or open the side panel and drop a photo in from your computer. WHEN A PHOTO HAS NOTHING Often it will. Social networks, messaging apps and image CDNs strip metadata when you upload — so an empty result usually means the platform removed it, not that your camera never wrote it. The panel tells you that plainly instead of leaving you guessing. BUILT FOR PRIVACY • No accounts, no sign-in, no tracking, no analytics • No network requests of any kind • Nothing is written to disk; each photo is read and discarded • Site access is requested one site at a time, only when you right-click an image there — never on install • Read-only: it will never alter or strip your photos Save a formatted PDF report — the same layout the Fluntro iOS app produces, with the photo, every section, and a full tag appendix. Or copy everything to the clipboard as tab-separated text. Light and dark themes, following your system setting by default, with a toggle if you prefer the other one. Free, with no trial, no upgrade prompt, and no ads. From the makers of EXIF Viewer for iOS and the free web tools at exifviewerapp.com
