Capture deliberately, keep your work in local History, and return to the material when you need it. **Capture and preserve** - Take screenshots and select regions of a page. - Save supported full-page captures. Free includes three full-page captures per calendar month; Pro unlocks unlimited full-page capture. - Capture article content and selected text with source context (Pro). - Record a tab, application window, or screen using Chrome’s native source picker. - Include source audio where Chrome provides it, and optionally include microphone audio when you enable it and grant the browser/device permission. - Keep notes and tags with saved captures. - Crop images and use basic pen annotation in Free; unlock advanced image annotations with Pro. - Use supported video trimming, captions, stickers/pointer overlays, and optional narration with Pro. - Revisit saved items in local History and export copies when needed. **Free and Pro** - **Free:** screenshots, region capture, crop/basic pen annotation, notes and tags, three full-page captures per calendar month, and screen recordings up to 30 seconds each. - **Pro:** Article and Selection capture, unlimited full-page captures, advanced image annotations, longer recordings, video trim, captions, stickers/pointer overlays, and optional narration. Pro-only capabilities are enabled only after a valid license is verified by the planet.X licensing service. - No timed Pro trial is planned. Pro is a separate one-time purchase; the final license and refund terms must be published with the offer. **Privacy and control** Capture actions are user-initiated. Screen recording uses Chrome’s native picker so you choose and confirm the tab, window, or screen. Captured page content, screenshots, recordings, notes, tags, and exports are stored locally by default and are not automatically uploaded to planet.X. If you activate or verify Pro, the extension sends the license key, a random installation/device identifier, product/action details, and an available license token to the planet.X license service over HTTPS. The service validates licenses through Payhip. Payment details are handled by Payhip, not by the extension. **Designed for practical work** Use eXhibit Capture for research, source-backed notes, bug reports, troubleshooting, tutorials, process documentation, and visual references. It is a Chrome extension, not a standalone Windows application. Chrome-restricted pages such as chrome:// pages and extension pages cannot be captured. **Compatibility:** Google Chrome 116 or later.
