Overview

Track whale inflows and outflows across exchanges to spot accumulation and distribution.

Track exchange inflow/outflow of whales and detect accumulation patterns in real-time. What it does. Whale Flow Crypto Monitor surfaces large ('whale') cryptocurrency transaction alerts in a Chrome side panel and raises desktop notifications when configured thresholds are crossed. Price context is pulled from CoinGecko public price API. Key features (found in code): - Side-panel UI (`sidepanel.html`) opened via `chrome.sidePanel` (background.js:19, background.js:20) - Right-click context-menu action "Open Whale Flow Monitor" via `chrome.contextMenus` (background.js:40, background.js:120) - Data source: CoinGecko public price API (`api.coingecko.com`, background.js:6) - Periodic background refresh via `chrome.alarms` (background.js:23, background.js:27) - Desktop notifications via `chrome.notifications` (background.js:305, background.js:326) - User-configurable alerts, stored locally in `chrome.storage.local` (background.js:8) Who it's for. Traders who watch large on-chain movements ('smart money') for market signals. No background data collection, no ads, no tracking, no account required.
