Exact Search for eBay
Overview
Make eBay search results match what you actually typed.
Make supported US eBay keyword search results more precise with Exact Search. It works on supported search-result pages at www.ebay.com. - Require every requested word, quoted phrases, and exclusions from your query. - Match model and part numbers conservatively, including supported space and hyphen variants, without matching partial identifiers. - Reveal filtered listings to read why they were rejected, then hide them again. - Apply the same query as eBay updates results or you navigate supported searches. - Collapse repeated matching cards that share the same public eBay item ID. Use Show duplicates to reveal those copies independently of filtered results. Only recognized listings are processed. Unsupported or unreadable listings remain untouched. Different item IDs are not collapsed based on similar titles or seller labels. Seller/title duplicate matching is disabled because trustworthy seller identity has not been established. Exact Search processes the current supported eBay search page locally in your browser: its URL/query, listing titles, public item URLs/IDs, and result structure. It does not transmit that page data to the developer or third parties, store it persistently, or initiate network requests. There are no accounts, analytics, or telemetry. eBay's own website continues to operate under its own policies. Exact Search for eBay is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by eBay Inc.
