Sync bookmarks across browser profiles using a GitHub repo you own — Chrome, Edge, Brave, Arc, and other Chromium browsers.

Your bookmarks, identical in every browser — synced through a private GitHub repo you own. If you work across multiple Chrome profiles or browsers, you know the problem: every profile has its own bookmarks, Chrome sync only follows one Google account, and every Chromium browser is its own silo. Evergreen gives all of them one shared set of bookmarks — without creating an account on anyone's server. HOW IT WORKS Evergreen stores your bookmarks as a single file in a private GitHub repository that you own. Every browser you install it in reads and writes that repo directly. There is no Evergreen server, no account, no third party in the middle — your data moves between your browser and your repo, nowhere else. Setup takes about a minute: paste a GitHub token, and Evergreen finds your bookmarks repo or creates one. A fine-grained token scoped to a single repository is all it needs. WHAT YOU GET • One bookmarks bar everywhere — add a bookmark in one browser, it appears in the rest. • Full version history — every change is a Git commit. Browse recent activity in the popup and restore any earlier version with one click. • Safety before speed — if a sync would remove a large number of your bookmarks, Evergreen pauses and asks first. Nothing is touched until you decide. • A careful first sync — when a browser with existing bookmarks joins, you choose: combine both sets, keep the repo's, or keep the browser's. Your current set is committed to history first, so the choice is reversible. • Offline-friendly — no connection just means "will sync when you're back," shown calmly with your last sync time. Not an error. • Concurrent-edit safe — edit bookmarks in two browsers at once and both changes survive; writes are conflict-checked against the repo's version. WORKS WITH Chrome (including multiple profiles), Edge, Brave, Arc, and other Chromium-based browsers. Tip: turn off the browser's built-in bookmark sync so Evergreen is the single source of truth. PRIVACY Your bookmarks and your GitHub token are stored locally in your browser and transmitted only to api.github.com — to a repository you own and can inspect, export, or delete at any time. Evergreen collects nothing, phones home nowhere, and has no servers to trust.
