Events Inspector
Overview
A better way to inspect streaming events in Chrome DevTools
Events Inspector adds a dedicated Events panel to Chrome DevTools for inspecting text/event-stream / Server-Sent Events traffic in real time. If you work with AI streaming responses, live dashboards, internal tools, or any SSE-based workflow, Chrome’s default EventStream view is hard to use. It shows raw wire data, makes JSON difficult to inspect, and provides very little help for understanding how related events fit together. Events Inspector makes streaming traffic much easier to debug. With Events Inspector, you can: - inspect streaming events as they arrive - pretty-print JSON payloads in a readable tree view - filter by event type or search payload content - view per-stream timelines and event timing - inspect request details alongside stream output - group related events using configurable grouping rules - collapse complex event flows into nested groups for easier analysis - copy raw event text or formatted payload data - preserve your current session while navigating or reloading
