This allows us to extract event information (dates, times, descriptions) from the page you're viewing. **scripting** We use this permission to inject a content script that analyzes the webpage's HTML structure to find event data. All processing happens locally on your computer. **identity** We request this to authenticate you with Google using their OAuth system. This is required to add events to your Google Calendar. We never access anything beyond your calendar. **storage** We use this to store your preferences and settings locally on your computer (such as all-day defaults and keyboard shortcuts). **calendar** We request permission to add events to your Google Calendar only when you explicitly click the "Add to Calendar" button. This requires Google's calendar API access.
