Event Hider for Google Calendar
Overview
Hide selected Google Calendar events with Alt + right-click.
Some meetings you are invited to, never attend, and cannot leave. Event Hider removes them from your calendar view so you can see the day you actually have. Alt + right-click any event to hide it. The event disappears and the layout closes up behind it: all-day bars move up into the freed lanes, and timed events that no longer collide with anything expand to full width. No leftover empty space. To bring an event back, open the extension popup. While it is open, hidden events fade to 50% opacity instead of disappearing, so you can Alt + right-click one again to unhide it. The "Restore all" button clears the whole list. Nothing is changed in Google Calendar itself. The events are hidden only in your browser, and only for you. Guests, organisers and your actual calendar data are untouched, so this is safe to use on a shared or work calendar. The list of hidden events is stored in Chrome's synced storage, so it follows your Chrome profile to your other computers. Note: Google Calendar uses one id for a whole recurring series, so hiding one occurrence hides every occurrence of that event.
