EvenBetterGlitchwave

Genre voting on charts, load-all + instant sort/filter on genre pages, and categorised descriptors on game pages for Glitchwave.

EvenBetterGlitchwave adds three improvements to Glitchwave's chart, genre and game pages. VOTE ON GENRES FROM CHARTS Adds a "Vote on genres" button to every game on a chart. Click it to open Glitchwave's genre voting dialog right there, without leaving the chart. Ctrl-click or middle-click opens the game in a new tab with the voting dialog already open, so you can vote on several games at once. LOAD ALL PAGES + INSTANT SORT AND FILTER ON GENRE PAGES One click merges every page of a genre's game list into a single list. Filter instantly by title or genre, release year range, minimum number of ratings, minimum average rating, or recommended games only. Sort instantly by release date, title, average, number of ratings or number of reviews. Glitchwave's own column headers sort in place too, with no page reload. Optional "auto" setting loads every page whenever you open a genre. Keyboard shortcuts: / to jump to the filter, Esc to clear it, Shift+L to load all pages. Pages are fetched one at a time with a short pause between each, so Glitchwave isn't hit with a burst of requests. CATEGORISED GENRES AND DESCRIPTORS ON GAME PAGES One GENRES block, with primary genres in bold and influences underneath. A DESCRIPTORS block sorted into categories: Art style and graphics, Controls and interface, Game mechanics, Game modes, Perspective and camera, Themes, Timekeeping, and Other. Tags the extension doesn't recognise yet appear under "Unclassified", so nothing is hidden. A Detailed / Simple switch goes back to a plain primary/secondary layout, and your choice is remembered. PRIVACY EvenBetterGlitchwave collects no data and has no accounts or tracking. It only runs on glitchwave.com. The only network requests it makes are to Glitchwave's own genre pages, and only when you choose to load all pages. EvenBetterGlitchwave is an unofficial extension. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Glitchwave or Sonemic.
