Overview

Removes footnotes in EU legislation and adds banner with link to most recent consolidated version of the legislation

Removes amendment annotations from body text on eur-lex.europa.eu legislation pages to enhance readability and users' ability to copy and paste cleanly from legislation. It also adds a persistent banner to the top of the page to show whether you are viewing the most recent consolidated version of that legislation and, if not, a link to that latest version so that you know you're not accidentally looking at out-of-date law. I made this for my own ease-of-use but thought I'd share it more broadly. It's simple enough that nothing should break, but it's provided as-is and I don't plan to maintain or support it. Not affiliated with or endorsed by eur-lex.europa.eu or any European Union body.
