Compare versions of EU legislation in a dedicated, high-performance tab.

A user-friendly tool for extracting and comparing different versions of the same EU legislation. Create a legal blackline (also known as a "redline" or "diff") with this tool to see changes in the legislation over time and make meeting updated compliance requirements easier. To generate a comparison, navigate to the desired "base" version of the legislation (either the OJ version or a later consolidated version), find the desired comparison version from the list of consolidated versions on the left, right click to open the context menu, and select "Compare with current legislation". The tool should work with any English-language version of legislation on eur-lex.europa.eu, save for the treaties (due to technical limitations of the underlying API). Not affiliated with or endorsed by eur-lex.europa.eu or any European Union body. While efforts have been taken to ensure accurate performance, always check output before relying on generated comparisons.
