Overview
Colours Chrome in Ethiopian green, gold and red with tibeb patterns, and marks the year's holidays and feasts on every new tab.
Ethiopian Calendar Theme colours Chrome in Ethiopian green, gold and red, and draws the Ethiopian year with its holidays and feasts along the bottom of every new tab. WHAT YOU GET • Tab strip in deep green with a woven diamond pattern and a gold and red edge • Toolbar, address bar and new tab page in dark greens that are easy on the eyes • The 13 months of the Ethiopian year as a line, with one mark for every day • Fixed public holidays marked in red, such as Enkutatash, Meskel, Genna, Timket and Adwa • Major Ethiopian Orthodox feasts marked in gold, each with its day in Ge'ez numerals • The Fast of the Prophets, the Fast of Filseta and the Season of Flowers shown beneath the months • A tibeb border, the woven pattern of Ethiopian cotton cloth, along the bottom HOW TO USE 1. Click "Add to Chrome" 2. Open a new tab to see the months and the tibeb band 3. To remove it, open Chrome Settings, choose Appearance, then "Reset to default" PLEASE NOTE This is a theme, so it only changes how Chrome looks. The year line is a fixed picture: it does not highlight today's date, and it leaves out holidays whose date changes every year, such as Easter-based days and Islamic holidays. Only the range in which Fasika can fall is shown. Genna is marked on Tahsas 29; in some years it falls on Tahsas 28. PRIVACY The theme contains only images and colours. It requests no permissions and collects no data. SUPPORT Questions or suggestions: centg2g@gmail.com
