Identity Inspector is a developer and analytics debugging tool for EssentiallySports (essentiallysports.com). It helps engineers and analysts inspect first-party visitor identity signals on the current page. WHAT IT DOES • Reads visitor IDs from cookies and page storage (ppid, gcid, GA client ID, newsletter state) • Shows stitch health between ppid, GrowthCode, and newsletter identity • Displays visit summary (first visit, total visits, GA sessions) • Builds an identity resolution record: ppid, gcid, email, email SHA-256 • Saves resolution snapshots locally keyed by naked URL (origin + pathname) • Validates current page identity against saved resolutions (match / mismatch) WHO IT IS FOR Internal developers, analytics engineers, and QA testing identity stitching on EssentiallySports. Not intended for general end users. HOW TO USE 1. Open any page on essentiallysports.com 2. Click the extension icon 3. Use the Inspect tab for full ID inventory, or the Resolution tab to save/validate identity fields 4. Optionally export JSON for offline analysis DATA & PRIVACY • Works only on essentiallysports.com and www.essentiallysports.com • Data is read from the active tab when you open the extension • Saved resolutions are stored locally in your browser only (chrome.storage.local) • No data is sent to external servers • No accounts, ads, or tracking by this extension SUPPORTED QUERY PARAMETERS (Resolution tab) • email, e, user_email, mail — plain email from URL • email_hash, email_sha256, h3, hem_sha256 — hashed email from URL
