ErudAite SBM (Stand By Me) is an AI-powered translation extension that helps you read, write, and communicate across 59 languages with 10 distinct translation modes. FEATURES • Page Translation — Translate entire web pages in-place with a single click. Text is replaced directly in the DOM so you can read naturally. Supports streaming translation with a real-time progress bar. • Right-Click Translation — Select any text on any page, right-click, and get an instant translation popup. No need to copy-paste into a separate tool. • Auto-Translate — Optionally auto-translate pages as you browse. Configure policies: always on, off when the page matches your UI language, or exclude specific languages. • YouTube Subtitle Translation — Translates YouTube subtitles in real time with a dedicated overlay. Prefetches upcoming subtitles for near-zero delay on supported videos. (Alpha) • Email & Chat Assistant — Side panel support for Gmail, Outlook Web, and Slack. Reads your email thread or chat, provides a summary and context analysis, suggests reply options, generates drafts in the recipient's language, and shows a reverse translation for verification. • Google Docs / Slides / Sheets — Right-click translation and overlay translation for Google Workspace documents. • 10 Translation Modes — Standard, Literal, Context-Aware, Casual, Formal, Deep Context-Aware, Transcreative, Gyaru, Chuuni, and Summary. Each mode produces a distinctly different translation style. • 59 Target Languages — From English, Japanese, Korean, Chinese (Simplified & Traditional) to Arabic, Hindi, Thai, and many more. PRIVACY • Your text is sent to our translation API (sbm.erudaite.ai) solely for the purpose of producing a translation. We do not store, sell, or use your text for any other purpose. • Authentication uses Google Sign-In via Chrome's built-in identity API. Only your email, display name, and a session token are stored locally in the browser. • No data is sold to third parties. Translation processing uses industry-standard AI language model providers as backend infrastructure, subject to their respective data processing terms. • All communication is encrypted via HTTPS.
