)Overview
Type what you want a card about and get a cut debate card from the page you're on, free. Plus MLA 9, APA 7 and debate citations.
Ergo Card Cutter cuts debate evidence for you. Open an article, type the warrant you need, and get a finished card in a second: a tag, a full cite and the underlining and highlighting picked to prove your point. HOW IT WORKS • Click the icon (or press Alt+Shift+C) on any article. • Type the warrant, or leave it blank to cut the article's key part. • Choose how much to highlight: Less, Medium or More. • Copy the card and paste it into your file. Fonts, sizes, underlining and highlighting come with it. WHAT YOU GET • Cards formatted like a real prep file: bold tag, short cite and full cite with quals, date, title, publication, URL and date of access. • Underline, emphasis and highlight chosen to fit your warrant. If the article doesn't support the warrant, it tells you instead of cutting a bad card. • Change the warrant and the card re-cuts on the spot. Edit the tag right on the card. • Open in Google Docs: puts the card and the full source into a new Google Doc. • Citation mode: Debate, MLA 9 and APA 7, with every field editable. • History of your last 100 cards, with one-click copy. • Cyan, yellow or green highlighter, light or dark mode, six colours, and a liquid glass or matte look. FREE AND PRIVATE • No account, no API key, no subscription. • Cutting happens on your computer. Your cards and history stay in your browser. • Only reads the tab you open it on, and only when you click it. Ergo Card Cutter does the busywork. Always read the card before you read it in a round.
