Make web videos warmer, cooler, clearer or more vivid while you watch. Global Video Enhancer adjusts the picture in your browser, with controls for white balance, colour, tone and detail. It cannot increase a stream's resolution or restore detail that is missing from the source. Open the draggable chameleon control on a supported video. Adjust Kelvin and tint, brightness, contrast, saturation, shadows, midtones, highlights, tone curve, dehaze, compression cleanup and sharpness. Use the pixel picker where the browser allows video sampling. Compare the original and adjusted picture, then save settings for videos you revisit. Presets give you a quick starting point; you can change every control to suit the footage. The control panel can zoom independently of the page and fits smaller browser windows. Global Video Enhancer works with many HTML5 web videos and direct local video files that the browser can play. To use local files, enable “Allow access to file URLs” on the extension details page, then open the video in Chrome or Brave. Results vary by video and device. Strong sharpening can emphasize compression artifacts, and some effects use more processing power. Start gently and compare with the original. Browser restrictions, DRM and protected output, HDR, remote playback, restricted pages, and some embedded players can limit or prevent enhancement. A browser's native Picture-in-Picture window may show the original picture. We cannot promise support for every site or player. Try every picture control for 30 days.
