Epitree: Save Words, Build Concept Trees

Save any word with its definition, context, and source link. Turn any article into a connected concept tree.

Turn what you read into knowledge you keep. Epitree saves the words and ideas you meet while reading, explains each one as it was used on that page, connects them in a Concept Tree, and brings them back for review before you forget. HOW IT WORKS • Highlight to save. Select a word, phrase or idea on any page and click Save, or right-click and choose Save to Epitree. Epitree keeps it with the sentence it came from and a link to the page. • Meaning in context. See what it meant in that sentence, not a generic dictionary entry. • Concept Tree. Everything you save finds its place, and related ideas link up on their own. You don't file anything. • Import a whole page. One click in the toolbar popup turns an article, a docs page or an AI chat into its key ideas and terms, organised in your Concept Tree. • Review until it sticks. On epitree.com, FSRS spaced repetition brings each item back just before you'd forget it, as a flip card, a multiple-choice question or a fill-in-the-blank. Email reminders and streaks help you keep going. IN THE EXTENSION • Side panel: search everything you've saved, see how it connects, add your own notes or mnemonics, and archive what you already know. • Popup: your saved words and monthly allowance at a glance, and one-click page import. • Pause Epitree on any site where you don't want the Save button. WHO IT'S FOR Language learners reading real articles in the language they're learning. Students working through dense course material. Developers reading docs full of new terms. Anyone preparing for an interview, an exam or a new field. YOUR DATA • Nothing is sent until you click Save or Import. Epitree then sends the word, its sentence and the page link, or, when you import, that page's text. Never your browsing history. • We don't sell your data. • Export your library to Anki, Obsidian or Logseq on every plan, including Free. • Delete your account and your library goes with it. GOOD TO KNOW • You need an Epitree account. Sign in with Google or email. There's a Free plan, with Starter and Pro plans for more. • Epitree is for people aged 13 and over (16 in Europe). • Why it asks to read and change data on websites: to show the Save button when you select text, and to read a page when you choose to import it.
