EphUX

A user-owned reasoning-integrity layer for live AI sessions.

EphUX is a browser extension for people who work inside live AI chat sessions and want a local, evidence-first reasoning check before the session drifts. EphUX runs only on the supported AI sites you enable. In v0.1, it supports Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and Copilot. It watches visible session text locally, looks for observable patterns such as sycophancy, drift, unsupported assertions, and instruction deviation, then shows a small overlay with evidence and a counter-prompt you can use or ignore. This first release focuses on local monitoring: Optional per-site access. Zero-retention mode on by default. Local heuristic checks. Evidence-first alerts. Counter-prompt suggestions. No chat-content network transmission in v0.1. EphUX does not replace the AI service you are using and does not claim to verify truth. It surfaces patterns that may deserve a second look, then gets out of the way. Cloud archive, team review, model cross-validation, and paid account enforcement are not included in v0.1.
