Ephemeral AI Chat automatically enables the temporary (incognito) chat mode on your favorite AI chatbots, so you don't have to click the button every single time. Open a new conversation, and it's already in temporary mode. SUPPORTED SERVICES • Claude (claude.ai): incognito chat • ChatGPT (chatgpt.com): temporary chat • Gemini (gemini.google.com): temporary chat • Grok (grok.com): private chat HOW IT WORKS • For Claude and ChatGPT, the extension opens new conversations with the service's own temporary-chat URL parameter. • For Gemini and Grok, it clicks the temporary-chat button for you as soon as it appears on the page. • It also works when you start a new chat from inside the site, without reloading the page. FULL CONTROL Click the extension icon to turn the extension on or off, or to enable it only for the chatbots you choose. Your choices are saved and synced with your Chrome profile. PRIVACY • No data collection. No analytics. No tracking. • No remote servers: everything runs locally in your browser. • The only data stored is your on/off preferences. • Open source and tiny: it only runs on the four websites listed above. GOOD TO KNOW • Temporary chats are handled by each service. Check their own policies to see how long such conversations may still be retained for safety purposes. • Gemini and Grok don't offer a URL shortcut, so the extension relies on their page layout. If a site redesigns its interface, the auto-activation may stop working until the extension is updated. • If you manually turn temporary mode off on Claude or ChatGPT, it will be re-enabled the next time you open a new chat.
