Listing Guard helps Etsy sellers spot policy problems before they publish, not after a listing is removed. WHAT IT DOES - Listing editor check: while you edit, a small panel reviews your title, description and tags for wording that often causes trouble: off-platform contact or payment (emails, "pay by PayPal", "order directly"), protected brand and character names (a list of 1,362 terms; ambiguous words like Coach or Apple are flagged only when brand context is nearby), and prohibited-item terms. Each finding comes with a "Try instead" suggestion. Free, no limit on listings. - Copy safe version: one click copies a rewritten title or description with the risky sentences replaced. It goes to your clipboard only; you paste it yourself. The extension never types into Etsy fields. - Photo QR check: finds QR codes in your listing photos that point away from Etsy. - Messages guard: warns you while you type a message to a buyer if it asks them to pay or talk outside Etsy. It also offers "Safe reply ideas" and "Copy my message without the risky parts" (clipboard only). It never blocks, edits or sends your message. Free. - Shop audit from a CSV: drop in the listings CSV that Etsy lets you download (Shop Manager > Settings > Options > Download Data) and get your whole shop ranked by risk, with counts per category. The file is read on your computer and is never uploaded. Covers inactive listings and tags. - Optional shop scan (experimental, OFF by default): after you tick "Enable shop scan" on the audit page and click Scan, the extension reads a shop's public Etsy pages (50 listings per run, one request every 2.5 seconds) from your browser. Etsy's Terms prohibit automated scraping; Etsy may rate-limit or restrict your account. Use at your own risk. Public pages show no tags. PRIVACY Your listing text, messages, CSV and photos are processed locally in your browser. Nothing is sent to us or to anyone. The extension only requests your listing photos from Etsy's image server (i.etsystatic.com) to look for QR codes, and, if you buy Pro, sends your license key and a device name to Lemon Squeezy to check it. GOOD TO KNOW - This is guidance, not a guarantee. Etsy decides what is allowed; a clean result does not promise that a listing will not be reviewed or removed, and a warning does not mean it will be. Rules are simple pattern checks and can miss things or flag harmless text. - It reads the pages you use it on (the listing editor and Messages) and adds a panel. The optional shop scan reads public pages only when you enable it and click Scan. It does not publish, edit or send anything for you.
