Ever scrolled past a photo you wanted to keep, then spent twenty minutes hunting for it a week later? Reminiscent fixes that. WHAT IT DOES While you browse Facebook, Reminiscent adds a small Save button to photos. Click it and the photo is kept — filed automatically under the profile that posted it. No renaming, no sorting, no "where did I put that" later. Open a folder and you see one person's photos together, in the order you saved them. The way a photo album works, instead of a downloads folder full of 847362819_n.jpg. WHY IT'S DIFFERENT Most savers dump everything into one pile named after the file. Reminiscent organizes by WHO, because that's how people actually remember a photo — not "that JPEG from March", but "that photo my cousin posted". YOU CHOOSE WHAT'S SAVED Nothing is collected automatically. Nothing is saved unless you click Save on a photo. The extension reads only the page you're already looking at. WHAT IT NEVER DOES It never posts, likes, comments, follows, or messages anyone. It never acts on your account in any way. It only reads the page you're viewing so it can show you the Save button. PRIVACY Everything stays on your device, in your browser's local storage. There is no account, no sign-up, no server, and no analytics. Your saved photos and settings never leave your computer. COMPANION TO THE DESKTOP APP Reminiscent for desktop is a standalone browser for Instagram and Facebook that keeps a full photo vault on your PC. This extension brings the same save-by-profile idea to Facebook in your everyday Chrome browser.
