Notion Tidy
Overview
Batch-clean and organize Notion database page titles right from your browser.
Chrome Web Store Listing — Notion Tidy Copy-paste source for the Chrome Web Store Developer Dashboard. Not used by the extension itself; this is just the single place to draft and version the listing text. Short description Batch-clean Notion database titles from your browser — trim, replace, prefix, and more, with a preview before every change. Detailed description Notion Tidy cleans up messy Notion database titles in bulk, right from your browser — no scripts, no CLI, no copy-pasting into a spreadsheet. Open a Notion database in your browser, click the Notion Tidy icon, and it automatically picks up that database. Pick a cleanup action, preview exactly what will change, and apply it in one click. WHAT IT DOES • Trim leading/trailing whitespace from titles • Add a prefix to every title (skips titles that already have it — safe to run twice) • Find-and-replace text across all titles • Remove line breaks from titles • Normalize repeated spaces into one • Extract a link from a title into a separate URL property, leaving the title as plain text SAFE BY DESIGN • Nothing changes until you confirm. Every batch action shows how many pages will be affected and a preview of the actual before/after titles first. • Titles that wouldn't change are automatically skipped — no wasted API calls, no noise in your Notion edit history. • Requests are rate-limited to stay within Notion's API limits, with automatic retry on rate-limit and server errors. PRIVACY Notion Tidy talks directly to Notion's official API and nowhere else. Your API key is stored only in Chrome's local storage on your own device — never sent to us, because there is no "us" receiving anything. Full privacy policy: see the link in this listing. GETTING STARTED 1. Create a Notion integration at notion.so/my-integrations and copy its Internal Integration Token. 2. Connect that integration to the database(s) you want to edit (database menu → ⋯ → Connections). 3. Open Notion Tidy's options page and paste in your token. 4. Open your Notion database in a browser tab, click the Notion Tidy icon, and start cleaning up titles.
