Overview

A calm tab sidebar with folders, linked-tab groups, drag-and-drop, timed cleanup and restart recovery.

A calmer home for your tabs. Tablane brings saved pages and everyday browsing into one clean Chrome sidebar. Keep the pages you want in folders, and let temporary tabs stay temporary. • Save pages in nested folders and drag to rearrange them. • Keep saved pages above temporary tabs, with a layout that grows naturally with your content. • Group related pages automatically when a link opens a new tab, including longer browsing chains. • See a floating page card while dragging, with smooth folder expand/collapse transitions. • Choose temporary-tab retention from 1 to 24 hours since last use; the default is 24 hours. • Restore unexpired temporary tabs and their groups after reopening Chrome. Manually closed tabs stay closed. • Protect active, playing-audio and Chrome-pinned tabs from automatic cleanup. • Recover automatically cleared pages for 7 days, up to 200 pages. • Search, rename, move with the keyboard, and export or import a local JSON backup. Ten interface languages: English (default), Chinese, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean and Arabic. Arabic includes a right-to-left layout. Private by design: tab records and settings stay on your device. No Tablane account, advertising, analytics or remote code. Opening or restoring a page makes a normal browser request to that website. Click the Tablane toolbar icon to open the sidebar, then use the star or drag a page into Saved. In Chrome's Appearance settings, you can choose which side the native side panel uses. Tablane is free to use. It manages web tabs, not Chrome's built-in bookmark library.
